As an experienced Designer, Project Manager and Associate, Ashley brings more than 10 years of architecture and design industry experience to Sixthriver. She has lead projects as the designer or project manager on over 19 million square feet throughout her career. Ashley’s ultimate goal is to improve the lives of others through well-designed and efficient spaces. She helps clients with their challenges by turning initial thoughts and ideas into complex, tangible realities. Ashley is a team oriented project manager, reinforced by her excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills. Her ability to meet deadlines, keep multiple large scope projects on schedule, and effectively problem solve makes her an invaluable team leader and a great asset to all of our clients.

Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Science - Interior Design from Texas State University. Since graduation she has not only been a mentor but also an assistant professor.

Nix Patterson, LLP is a 40-year-old, commercial litigation and personal injury law firm. Their legal team is vastly known for their assistance in recovering $17.6 billion settlement for the State of Texas against Big Tobacco and $1 billion representing the State of Oklahoma against the opioid industry and Johnson & Johnson. The Nix Patterson team of attorneys and staff excel at creating innovative tactics and results that are driven by hard work and advanced technology.

The Client looked to Sixthriver to design a non-traditional law office that reflects an inviting, contemporary aesthetic and team-oriented culture. Transparency and collaboration were of upmost importance to foster with the design, while also respecting the focused, private workspace of the individual. The social areas are polished and inviting, balanced with a variety of woods, dark and light tones, black accents and soft details. Multiple social areas provide respite from the work environment such as a lounge, and breakroom with a golf simulator.

Complexity & Challenges: Describe the project. Were there any specific challenges to execute the project?

Construction material and furniture procurement was exceptionally challenging given the current construction climate post COVID. Working as a team, Sixthriver was able to involve the general contractor early and prior to completed construction drawings to successfully prevent delays and procure materials prior to the commencement of construction. Despite our collective best efforts, we continued face product shipment and delivery delays. This issue required the entire project team to provide creative and expeditious solutions on a weekly scale for over a year to manage the challenge.
